Cork Art Therapy Summer School 2023
The Cork Art Therapy Summer School welcomes you warmly to a unique opportunity to learn about, and experience the Art Therapy process. Art Therapy utilises creative media to offer a profound yet direct way for us to explore, reflect upon and understand our life experiences and patterns within a safe and therapeutic space. The impact of the last two and a half years has been hard on us all making this safe, reflective space invaluable, perhaps imperative.
Choose one workshop from a fascinating choice of four (for full details follow the link above). Over five days, let the adventure unfurl, and through your own creativity come to a deeper appreciation of both Art Therapy and yourself. A series of lectures help contextualise the history, conceptual framework and current practice of Art Therapy.
This may be your first steps on the road to a career in Art Therapy. It may be an opportunity to re-engage with your creative identity. If you are a trainee or qualified therapist this may provide continuing professional development.
Every year this course proves to be an invaluable personal encounter, whatever one's motivation for attending.
