An Evening With Liam Cotter

The Dept. of Process, Energy & Transport Engineering within Cork Institute of Technology are hosting an evening lecture on Forensic Vehicle Fire Investigations with Mr. Liam Cotter, Automotive Engineer on Tuesday 25th Feb from 7 - 10pm in Room IT3, Library Building, CIT. Liam is a past student of Cork Institute of Technology and we are delighted to welcome Liam back for what will be a very insightful & educational evening on Forensic Vehicle Fire Investigations. Entry to the event will be free of charge and is open all CIT students and members of the public.

Brief Background on Liam

Liam has over 30 years’ experience in the Motor and Insurance industries and his particular areas of expertise are as a Loss Adjustor / Litigation Engineer. Liam has previously graduated from Cork Institute of Technology and is a member of the Institute of the Motor Industry, Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In addition, Liam has a Law Degree from UCC and lectured in E.U. Competition Law, Contract Law and Consumer Law, relating to the Motor Industry. Liam has worked for the RTE Primetime show investigating the NCT suspension testing regime and has carried investigations into vehicle fires for the RTE Consumer programme.
